The Windwood Trio, established
in 1992, is a sophisticated all female trio of flute, oboe and
clarinet. An extensive range of music will suite all tastes
whatever the occasion, and add a touch of sparkle and elegance to
complete your memorable event.
From an intimate soiree to a
large banquet, reception or wedding, The Windwood Trio has gained
a reputation for first class entertainment. They have performed in
settings as diverse as Westminster Abbey, Cafe de Paris in Monte
Carlo, Tower Bridge Gallery, Cliveden Manor, HMS Belfast and Lanesborough Hotel through to Rolls-Royce, Mercedes and Jaguar car
launches and on Cunard's luxury cruise liner the "Sagafjord"
from South America to South Africa. They have also played at the
Chelsea Flower Show which included several live BBC broadcasts of
their performances. In 2002 and 2003 they played at the opening gala
evening of the show as well as being featured in a Channel 5
series being broadcast early last year. The many restaurants in
which they have performed include The Cafe Royal, The Grosvenor
House and Jamie Oliver's Fifteen.
Their vast repertoire includes
works by Mozart, Puccini and Bach through to Gershwin, Lloyd
Weber, Bernstein and Duke Ellington. The original alternative is The Windwood Trio.
