Margaret Knight   GRSM LRAM Harpist

Margaret is a graduate and prize-winner of the Royal Academy of Music and she now pursues an international solo career as both harpist and singer.

She has performed for Russian Television in the Winter Palace of Peter-The-Great, in Japan for the Empress at the Soka harp festival in Tokyo, in America, Turkey, Europe and she visits Australia every Spring to give concerts and master classes.

In Britain, Margaret has performed in the presence of The Queen, Prince Philip, Princess Anne and Princess Diana. In March 2005 Margaret was invited to Buckingham Palace for her services to British Music.

For BBC Radio, Margaret has composed and performed music for Radio Dramas, and she has recorded the sound tracks for many films. She was the hand-double for Kylie Minogue in the latest Jim Henson film! Margaret’s solo recordings include ‘Silent Noon’, ‘From Rosary’, ‘A Voyage in Sound’, ‘Travellers’ Suite’ and ‘The Rune of the Moon’.
